Telehealth Consultations
Telehealth services provides a way of connecting patients with their Physiotherapists while limiting both parties’ potential exposure to COVID19. Telehealth consultations will be temporarily covered by participating health funds and also Medicare to allow for bulk billed phone or video consultations to reduce the exposure to COVID-19.
Telehealth claiming eligibility will differ between participating health funds and may have different effective dates.
HICAPS claiming can be done over the phone by supplying your health insurance card number followed by gap payment using EFTPOS.
Medicare Bulk Billing requires a referral from your GP.
Fully paid private patients are welcome.
